As it turned out, the advertisement in the newspaper was incorrect and the film was only subtitled in Sinhala. So we decided to take a trip to Negombo instead. I am a big fan of psyllium husks for dietary health. I think the bulk material is grown in India. In Canada, I buy from a health-food store, yet it is also available in Indian shops there. Here, we've only found it at one Muslim Ayurvedic shop. We got on another bus from Ja-Ela travelling on the major Colombo-Airport road. We seldom travel these particular 16 km as there is a more direct road to and from Minuwangoda. So, it was interesting to see the shops on this major, heavily-used route.
While walking in that town, we also decided to buy new bath towels for the house here. Our towels, that are stored away when we're not here, were looking pretty long in the tooth. We ate lunch at home. A massive, short-lived rain storm blew in during the afternoon and proved an excellent excuse for an hour and a half nap.
