Is September the New August?

During our years on Canada's west coast, the dates of the summer period seem to have moved. The present year has been a striking example: We had an awful and wet June but, thus far, September's been gorgeous.

Right now it's more than shorts weather. The sky hasn't a cloud and the temperature is above the seasonal average. Some years we're a little sun deprived, but these last few months have made up for any past neglect from nature.


June 2012 was a washout.

The weather makes the climate of this place seem perfect. Maybe my feelings are cloured by the fact we're going to be dodging the rain from this November through mid-March of 2013.
