For a majority of Canada of school age, this was the beginning of the new year. Yet, as my class doesn't run on Tuesdays or Thursdays, I didn't teach. I did drive into the Burnaby campus primarily to photocopy a few documents. As well I needed to leave a binder of teaching materials for a colleague.
I completed a summer course a few weeks ago and there were nearly no cars parked in the lots. I cannot help but compare the emptiness with this shot taken today!
I do have to add that the weather is fantastic today. In fact, it looks like the rest of the week is going to be clear and warm.
