I've taken to getting more exercise by walking. If you know the local geography, you know that going from downtown to uptown New Westminster, BC is a little bit of a workout due to the incline. I walk anywhere between a half and one hour. I've found that getting up early means I can going before 8:00 am. It is still delightfully cool at that time and hard to work up much of a sweat.

Today, I took my usual route up 4th Street and stopped at the London Drugs. However, I decided to walk through Queen's Park on the return. The Rose Garden was lovely, and the photo shows I stopped for a second at the totem pole in front of Centennial Lodge.
