I just spent a few hours getting ready for this weekend. No, I am not planning a rock-climbing expedition, nor hang-gliding lessons. Rather strangely, I'll be teaching! I've mentioned in the past how BCIT works really hard to meet the needs of our students. That can mean some part-time study courses run on weekends. This allows full-time workers access to the institute.
My class will run from 8:30 to 16:30 on both Saturday and Sundays. It will occur over six weekends, but we do have off the entire Canada Day weekend at the beginning of July.
Using the computer to set up a course homepage allows me to
get started before I even meet the students in person!
