Transit to Vancouver was crowded as people wanted to get outside in the sun. The breeze was still a little cool, but spring definitely got off to a good start this weekend. We're always intensely proud of our city here but when spring comes and a few clear days visit us, we are again dumbfounded. You can hear everyone think-shouting, "My God, I live in a beautiful city."
We took the chance to SkyTrain to Waterfront and then grabbed the SeaBus. A short walk through the Lonesdale Quay was next. Then, we ended up at Yaas Bazaar via a #230 up the hill for an early lunch of Persian food. The snow on the mountains was gorgeous. After, we went back down and crossed the water and boarded the #5 bus to check out English Bay. The beach was a little cool but bright. The Davie Street bus took us back to the SkyTrain at Granville. Today was nothing out of the ordinary. It was just good to be out in the sun and beneath such blue sky.
We really do live in a beautiful place.
