Where's All the White Stuff?

Pfff! There was a snow warning for parts of the Lower Mainland. It happens so infrequently here, most people actually rather like seeing it, especially on a weekend! As I'm taking transit to get to work on the weekends, I was also looking forward to a big snow storm.

It was a very underwhelming and consequently a little disappointing. Down here by the river in New Westminster, there was just a dusting. Although, I saw a few centimeters on the ground when taking the SkyTrain through Burnaby, there was absolutely nothing on the ground at Dunsmir and Seymore. If it's going to do it; it might as well really do it.

I had to scramble through Flickr to find this 2006 photo for inclusion today. That was the last time I remember this much snow on the church next door.
