I did a good steady job losing some of the extra fat. At one point in the middle of 2009 I bragged about weighing 198 lbs. Even back at that point, I wanted to shed more. I guess the idea had sort of fallen by the wayside. I used to start each day by weighing myself. I've not done that for years but shall try it again. That will be a nice slap in the face every morning. I think a daily reminder might be good encouragement. I have recommitted myself to the goal of 190 lbs.
(Today's entry is really for my own information. Without the links above I would have never been able to remember my previous progress or lack of it. And to encourage me even more, I'll add a picture taken 23 years ago when I was working in Bahrain. Too bad, I have no idea of how much I weighed at the time.)
