The Upside

We've lived in downtown New Westminster since 1996. That was at least a decade before it became 'cool'. I should add that I don't miss the SkyTrain Station drug dealers at all!



Going uptown is not something new. Yet, I never saw the corner of 6th Avenue and 6th Street from this angle. In fact, I'd never been on the roof of the Royal City Centre. I was looking at the city on Google Maps and zoomed in to see all the parking spaces on the top of the building. I sort of remembered the sign on Princess Street showing there was parking up; I just never bothered to go.

Ah ha, now when there's no parking at the New Westminster Public Library, I know where to head ...
