I, being me, had to be a little snarky though. I emailed him saying that he was very clever in finding a Christmas tree this year. He'd obviously been able to locate one that worked well in front of a window without blocking any light at all!He and Lynne had been visiting the other weekend. His retort was that he had noticed my idea of decorating was just to throw two strings of lights around the house. "Ouch," was my reply. He is definitely right.
So in keeping with an ever-so-slightly more effective show of decorations, I'll include this photo of the New Westminster City Hall. I was out on a walk uptown today just because the weather is so fantastic. Although a little cold, the sky is bluer than my eyes and the sun brighter than, well, my wit.
