This 10.1" Android tablet is known for its exceptional bulk. Yet, it has all the things that make life easier for someone like me. I am not looking to consume media via iTunes and I don't own any items from the Apple ecosphere. The fact this device has a standard USB port, an HDMI-out, and even a full-sized SD slot makes it a better fit as a device for me to use in a classroom. I think these things are more important than marketing hype and the crazy folks who wait in lines with thousands of others to be ubber-unique and cool.
It weighs in at exactly 750 grams. I guess I'm man enough to be able to handle the extra 149 grams my device weighs over the iPad 2. The big problem is that, after playing with it for the day, my Nexus One now feels tiny and practically unusable. Ironically though, my phone is what will provide 3G Internet access via it's built-in wifi hotspot when I'm out and about.
