Sunday in the Classroom

It's hard not to dwell on the fact I taught the whole day at the Burnaby Campus. Even though it was the topic of conversation in yesterday's entry, I just cannot seem to avoid repeating similar ideas again. It seemed so exhausting to utilize 14 hours of classroom activities rolled into a single weekend.

I do like the fact that at BCIT, we try so hard to match the needs of students though. The individuals in my class are somewhat amazing. For example, I cannot imagine putting in a whole work week and then using the weekend for studying.



I'm sure teaching will get easier during upcoming weekends. I think I might just be out of practice. In fact, I really couldn't remember the last time I was assigned to a weekend class. I did look through Flickr and noticed this photo from the downtown BCIT campus. I'm pretty sure now that I taught a weekend COMM 0004 there in the summer of 2005.
