There's nothing amazing about this picture I snapped with my phone today. It was taken before class at BCIT. As I got on campus a little early and was meeting my class in the library, the picture was taken near SW 3. It is a little strange seeing the area empty in such fine weather. Yet it is August and was before 8:30 in the morning. That's why there were few crowds, even though there's a Tim Horton's nearby.
Actually the reason I'm posting this image here today is I wanted to mention a little information about Flickr again. That photo-sharing site now houses more than 8,000 of my pictures. That goal was reached last week. Another interesting milestone is occurring today: my main Flickr page will have been viewed over 100,000 times. With vast numbers thrown around in today's world, that does not sound very special. After all, the red ink in the US stands at 14,000,000,000,000. That is a lot of zeros. Yet let's put my little 100K into perspective. If the views were spread out evenly with one occurring every single minute, my images would still have not all been seen after 69 days straight.
It's not that any of the images are spectacular, but sometimes becoming a diva just means keeping at something for a long period of time. Just ask Cher.
