Our BC tourism office used to say that we lived in the best place on earth. In the run up to last February's Winter Olympics, that was replaced with, "You Gotta Be Here." I wish I could have everybody I know stop in for the weekend so I could show off the place a bit. Of course, we might need a long weekend as the province has got 17,000 miles of coastline and four mountain ranges.
Surely we could go up to Whistler just for the drive. In fact, we should really take a trip up this weekend and try the summer view from the peak-to-peak gondola. It'd be less than a hundred miles going up.
