The sun was out earlier in the day making me wonder if summer might actually show up this year. Now it's clouding over a bit and there's supposed to be a lot of rain tonight. Those hours of sun did improve my mood.
I searched for another picture taken on a sunny day and ended up selecting this one.
This is the scan of a picture taken soon after we arrived in Canada. It was taken from a rented apartment on Agnes Street. We were able to look towards the Fraser River from the 9th floor. It would not be possible to take this same photo today. There is now a mega-development wrapping itself around the New Westminster SkyTrain station. Three enormous towers exist and work is still continuing on the shopping and movie cinema complex. Our little city of New Westminster has surely changed a lot during the last fourteen years.
