We met an older guy at breakfast who was here from Missouri doing research for next winter. He wanted to find out about the cost of renting an apartment. He figured he should come and scope it out directly. The Internet could be helpful for intial research but there is nother better than a set of feet on the ground. I wonder if we're secretly here thinking of retirement too.
This morning we decided to take the same bus we did yesterday when going south to Mismaloya. That is the beautiful cove 12 kilometers to the south of Puerto Vallarta. A further ten minutes down the road we hit the last bay directly on the highway. After that, Highway 200 heads inland. There are so many condo developments along this coast. Mostly this growth has taken place north of town towards and past the airport. That is a depressingly flat area. I suppose the view from the 25th floor of a new complex could be beatufiul. Yet, I think I'd be happier in Boca de Tomatian. The buildings aren't nearly as grande but that leaves more space for the real reason for coming; namely the beautiful temperate weather and lovely scenery.
