Ah, summer! In our part of BC, the temperature today should be about 25C (78F). If the weather were perfect everyday, then I wouldn't be as appreciative. Due to having wet cloudy winters, the summer months take on an added importance. There are outdoor events going on every weekend. So whether one wants to go hiking or to an urban street fair or festival, every weekend has something on offer.

Show and Shine in New Westminster. Last night, when we had visitors, we saw a big infalatable movie screen down at the Quay parking lot. It was a new part to this decade-old event. A few classic cars, as well as several dozen others, were lined up in rows to watch,
