An advantage of living near a large city is the proximity to big-name entertainment. We've been to a few travelling Broadway shows. We went to the Cirque du Soleil once downtown. Strangely, just as I was typing this, I got a promotional call from the Vancouver Arts Club Theatre too. We've been to a few of their productions. Still, we hardly ever make use of the variety of events which occur in Vancouver. We've got money enough to enjoy whatever comes by. We'll just have to get into the habit. I noticed that Rod Stewart is playing in General Motors Place on the 8th of August. He deserves accolades just by sticking with his craft for so long. He has an extensive collection of classics which span decades. I wonder what he's like in concert?
