
When I discovered that meant about five miles, I wondered how far I usually moved. What surprised me is how quickly steps add up just walking around the house when fulfilling one's ordinary routine. I was a little sick last weekend and obviously didn't do much on Sunday, the 24th. I'm pleased with my results for this week so far. I must put on several thousand just checking and helping students during my classes.
Aren't gadgets fun? I want a more diagnostic gadget which would keep track of my blood pressure and other stats and offer a USB port for nightly syncing with a PC. There's a market for such a device for tech savvy boomers.
