The old Hitachi has survived twelve years and moves to four different apartments. It also made the journey from Dubai to New Westminster by ship. It still keeps on ticking as strongly as the Eveready bunny. I'd be nearly impossible to recount the hours of the movies and programming (in both PAL and NTSC) that've flickered across its screen.
I know it's time to buy something else. It's just that by holding off, the options keep improving and decreasing in price. For decades televisions remained essentially the same; however, now there's LCD, DLP, and Plasma models to choose from. Maybe it's time to actually take the plunge and go shopping. Well, I'll be sure to do so before another dozen years are up.
