Our flight from Vancouver to Toronto wasn't too busy. It's only the second time we've flown wearing masks. It took about four hours for the first leg. Then, after waiting around Toronto for more than three hours, the other flight was supposed to be a bit shorter. However, there was so much air traffic that we had to circle around Cancun waiting for a slot.
The Toronto airport was time for Timbits. We travelled with many dogs on this trip as other winter-escaping, retired Canadians bring along their pets.
After landing, we had already arranged for a private van to take us 45 minutes south to Playa del Carmen. We easily moved into the Palmarena condo-hotel. All seems okay, except the Internet seems pretty poor. This will be home for somewhere between a month and five. It all depends on the developing world situation.
