There was no rush this morning, although we automatically woke up rather early. Even with the great darkening hotel curtains, we could see the early morning sun from around their edges. We had to eat our very last meal at the hotel restaurant. I'd not care to consider the total amount of food I was able to chow down since Sunday. We checked out at about quarter to nine and took a taxi to the Go Bus terminal. We were there in 15 minutes.
The bus was pretty full although a few people got off in Qena. It took longer than the trip down and we got back into Luxor city after about five hours. We decided against eating out and headed back towards the West Bank stopping only for a glass of sugar cane juice. We walked to the ferry and arrived at our home away from home at around 3:30 PM. Now I'm super-spoilt from lounging around and eating and drinking too much. As I typed on Twitter, "Hedonism is all it is cracked up to be."
