Day 059 of Our Winter: This was a between day. We just got back from Dubai late on Saturday night. Today, the older of Jay's sisters returned to her house in Nugegoda with her Dubai bounty. We did more laundry. I recovered from my sore throat.
Tomorrow Jay, his younger sister, and I will go to Nugegoda too. It is a fair journey to the Colombo suburb and we'll spend the night there.
On the day of January 31, we will check into a hotel in Colombo to be close to all the New Year celebrations near the Galle Face. There should be thousands of others, so we knew t he only real way to be part of the activities would be to have a place within walking distance to stay.
So, this was a between day.
