Today felt pretty cold. In the afternoon, I walked to the dollar shop that's in the New Westminster SkyTrain Station. I had to get one of those little round batteries for our garage door's remote control. I'd forgotten how very inconvenient it is to hold a door fob out of the driver-side window. My remote's battery died yesterday.
I realized it had been a long time since I'd been outside on a day when the high was just 6°C. That is why I was feeling so cold. We have sort of lived in a perpetual summer for a few years. And it'll still be almost two weeks before we're back outdoors in some 30°C temperatures. They can't come soon enough.
