Actually, the free Fusion Festival is not exclusively for me, but it always occurs over a weekend at this time of the year. Holland Park, at the end of the SkyTrain line, is set up with pavilions from many countries. Each year the list differs. They are staffed by Canadians with a background from dozens and dozens of different nations. These canopies provide tourist information, have souvenirs, and often sell ethnic food. This year there are three stages scheduled with a variety of song and dance from the world over. There are always crowds whether the weather cooperates or not.
We went today and will probably stop by tomorrow as well. It was a pleasant birthday present.
