I was going to add a screenshot of a Google Street View image. Today, I discovered that nearly all roads in Sri Lanka have been mapped and I spent a bit of time revisiting places. The van even ran up a small road towards Jay's house in Minuwangoda, but it only got within 500 meters of my little tropical retreat as it missed one very little side road.
I contemplated writing about using viator.com to pick up Stop-on/Stop-off bus tickets to Stockholm and Helsinki. We'll used them when in these ports on our Scandinavian Cruise in June. I could have just added a screen shot from the site.
Or as it's now 5:00 PM and we're going to cross the Nile on the ferry, I could wait and put something here after. We haven't been to our favourite supermarket over on the east bank in a long time. I could just add an ordinary street picture of the trip there or back.
I guess in a small way, I've made any of these choices unnecessary by already mentioning them. So instead I will simply add a picture from yesterday. In yesterday's blog entry a neighbour kid, Hassan, was wearing a baseball cap we'd given him. His face was kind of in the dark. Here, the cap is on backwards.
Wow, today's blog entry was very easy, after all!
