Pieces of the roof once found on the ground had been set back atop the building. Several railings were precariously dangling. In a word, the place was a mess.
I blame the damage on heavy birds landing as if they were about to perch on the edge of a rock cliff.
Mohammed did some major renovation work yesterday. The bird-feeder ended up with a number of metal, structural reinforcements. It even got a fresh coat of paint. Today, the birds are ecstatic. Yikes, there are lots of 'em. The word got out amongst the local finch and sparrow population and this apparently was the hottest property on the West Bank for a free meal today.
