I've always maintained that the little things of life, its errands, are actually what defines living. Many of us get into routines where those critical things become the distractions. The word, errand, has a negative undertone to me. This shouldn't be so. If people kept things simpler we'd probably be happier. We are enjoying simple pleasures.
In the evening, we walked down by church to watch participants in the fourth day of the Festival of Our Lady of Guadalupe. It supposedly gets bigger and more important as it reaches the evening of the 12th day. Then, today we found the Mercado del Mar 5 de Diciembre. That's where the fishermen bring in the fresh catches.
Things seem very relaxing. I am sure that the stressful way in which many people live can take years off their lives. So, don't mistake my stress-avoidance techniques as laziness. Oh, and we even managed to rent a place with a gas stove, Internet access, and a built in cat.
